Stacked laundry centers, stackable pairs and side-by-side setups

Laundry Pairs & Stacked Units in Johnston, Rhode Island

Replacing both machines at once saves you a second decision and a second delivery. We sell new, used and reconditioned washers and dryers, including stacked laundry units built for the apartments, triple-deckers and tight basement corners this part of Rhode Island is full of. If a stacked unit is the only thing that fits, start there — ceiling height and the right stacking kit matter far more than the badge on the front.

New, used and reconditioned on the floor. We repair laundry pairs and stacked units too — any brand, and in-shop estimates are free.

What we carry

Laundry Pairs & Stacked Units — what we sell, and what we repair.

Stock turns over week to week, so the honest split is this: the first list is what was last confirmed on the floor, the second is the full range that comes across the bench.

Confirmed on the floor

  • Stacked laundry

Types we work on

  • Stacked laundry center (one cabinet)
  • Stackable front-load pair
  • Side-by-side full-size pair
  • Compact 24-inch pair
  • All-in-one washer/dryer combo
Before you buy

Measure first. Then argue about the badge.

The things that decide which one fits your house, in the order they usually come up at the counter.

01

A laundry center is one cabinet with both machines in it — if half fails you service that half, but you can never separate them.

02

A stackable pair can be unstacked later and run side by side. A laundry center cannot.

03

Stacking a front-load pair requires the stacking kit made for those exact models. Straps and shims are not a substitute.

04

Measure ceiling height and any overhead pipes before you commit to stacking.

05

Match the dryer's fuel to what's already in the room — a 240V outlet for electric, a gas line for gas.

06

A closet install still needs door clearance and, for a vented dryer, a real path to the outside.

The other half of the shop

We repair laundry pairs and stacked units, too.

Any brand, whether it came from us or from somewhere else ten years ago, and in-shop estimates are free. These are the faults that come across the bench most often — if yours is on this list, get it looked at before you replace anything.

  • Washer side won't drain or spin
  • Dryer side heats but won't dry — vent restriction
  • Shared control panel or timer failure on a laundry center
  • Stacking bracket or anti-tip hardware missing after a move
  • Drain hose backing up out of the standpipe
  • Unit out of level and walking during the spin cycle
  • Belt or drum roller wear on the dryer half

Not sure whether it is worth repairing? That is the question a free in-shop estimate answers, and we will tell you when the answer is no.

Ask for a price

Ask about a specific machine.

Prices are set at the counter on the actual machine, so a phone call is the fastest way to get a real answer on a real unit instead of a range that means nothing.
